Slotted Set Screws

At Set Screw Mfg, we produce precision slotted set screws engineered for consistent performance in low- to medium-torque mechanical assemblies. Manufactured to meet or exceed ASME B18.6.2 and DIN 553 specifications, our slotted set screws are available in a wide range of thread classes, lengths, and materials—including alloy steel, stainless steel (302/304, 316), and brass.

We maintain strict dimensional tolerances to ensure reliable seating and thread engagement, even in applications with limited access or alignment constraints. Slot depth, width, and centering are tightly controlled for optimal torque transmission with standard flat-blade drivers. We can accommodate special requests for undersize or oversize slots based on end-user tooling specifications.

These fasteners are ideal for use in electrical connectors, instrumentation, light-duty shaft locking, and other assemblies where non-protruding head profiles and manual adjustability are priorities. Optional secondary processes include passivation, black oxide coating, thread locking compound pre-application, and case hardening.

We offer JIT fulfillment and lot traceability on all production runs. Custom geometries and thread forms, including UNF, UNC, and metric, are available on request.
